Real Estate Video Opportunities to help grow your business.

HD Video online is a reality.  Sorlie Arts is able to help you market not only your listings, but also YOURSELVES to your potential and existing clients.

With virtually every home in North America now having multiple computers with high-speed internet, it isn’t difficult at all to incorporate a video onto your website or MLS listing.  Sorlie Arts will visit your listing, take about an hour to film the house or property, and then provide you with either a Quicktime video or a Flash file that you can then add to your website until the property sells.

Another great marketing tool is a brief promotional video about yourself and perhaps your firm explaining what it’s like to work with you and perhaps including some video testimonials from your happy clients.

One of our customers asked us to create a memento video of the new house they bought after they sold their old house using a Sorlie Arts video!

Real Estate Videos can be built into your existing webpage, or you can request a custom micro-site built by Sorlie Arts with the listing address as the domain name

Surprise Same Day Edit – Kylee and Tom

We had the opportunity to surprise Kylee & Tom with a Same Day Edit tonight. Since we’re just getting our feet wet, we’ve been doing these Same Day Edits as an extra bonus for our couples – without letting them know until just before it’s ready to watch!

Kylee and Tom were such an honour to film, its great to be around a couple when you can see how much they cherish one another, you can see in Tom’s face how much he adores Kylee.  Kylee and her girls were truly stunning! Thanks to Kylee and Tom and their families for hosting us on their wedding day.

Tonights’ wedding was at Maclaren Art Centre which is where Emily and I had our wedding reception. It was so great to be back in the same room where we had our amazing wedding.

Pte. Kevin McKay Remembered

Kevin McKay gave his life for his country. McKay is the sixth member of the Canadian military to die in Afghanistan this year, and the 144th to die as part of the Afghan mission since it began in 2002.

A soldier’s soldier whose toughness and courage under fire embodied the very spirit of the Canadian military was killed Thursday when he touched off an improvised explosive device just days before he was scheduled to return home.

Pte. Kevin McKay, 24, of the Edmonton-based 1st Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, was on an evening foot patrol when the blast occurred in Nakhonay, a village of about 2,000 people in the heart of the Panjwaii district, some 15 kilometres southwest of Kandahar city  - Tara Brautigam, The Canadian Press.

The Canadian Hero Fund is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting Canadian military personnel and their families. As a national civilian charity, the Canadian Hero Fund raises money through community, grassroots efforts and acts as a conduit for all Canadians to show their support and care for military families and their sacrifice.

The initial project of the Canadian Hero Fund is to provide post-secondary scholarships to the children and spouses of fallen Canadian soldiers. Scholarships awarded by the Fund help finance post-secondary education at government-accredited universities, colleges and technical schools.

Music – “Highway of Heroes” by The Trews used with the permission of the band.

I’d like to especially thank Ryan and Erika from Rowell Photography for their cinematography help.  Ryan and Erika are phenomenal wedding photographers from Barrie, but I think I may have just converted Erika to cinema on this project!  We’d love to have you guys anytime!

Oana & Travis Cook – Wedding Film Sneak Peak

Oana & Travis Cook got married on Sunday, February 7th, 2010. These guys really love each other and they are the best of friends! The venue for their wedding and reception was the amazing ‘At The Five’ restaurant.

We loved spending the day with Oana & Travis as well as their fantastic photographers from down in the US of A. Diana Lupu DLUphotography.com and Lauren Gabrielle laurengabrielle.com. We love working with photographers with such passion for their work and for their couples.
