Arch Brown passed away late Monday night. We put this video together to honour Arch Brown – a fantastic entrepreneur and philanthropist. If you didn’t get the chance to meet him, or even if you knew him well, this video captures a bit of his story.

Barrie Business Awards Gala Sponsored by Sorlie Arts

We are very excited to be a sponsor of the Barrie Business Awards Gala. Over the past month, we’ve worked more overtime than you can count filming, editing & producing 36 videos for the annual event. It was fantastic to learn about all of the leading businesses in Barrie from Manufacturers to new businesses starting up everywhere!  The highlight of the night is always the Arch Brown Entrepreneur Award of Excellence.  Arch Brown has been struggling with some health concerns and was unable to be at the event to present the award in his name.  So, we put together this brief short film about Arch to honour him and to educate those in attendance about who Arch Brown is.  Take a look at the video here…

The event was a tremendous success. We created 36 videos in all for the finalists of the awards Gala including this one for Donna Douglas who won the Arch Brown Entrepreneur Award of Excellence!

Part of the sponsorship of the event is having an award named after Sorlie Arts.  Congratulations goes to Kim Roberts and the entire team at Robert’s Collision/Fix Auto Barrie for winning the 2009 Sorlie Arts Marketing & Promotions Award.

Soccer Scholarship Videos

We recently received a call from the coach of a girls rep soccer team who’s players were beginning the hunt for scholarships at Colleges and Universities across Canada and the United States. While we hadn’t yet filmed any of these types of videos, we decided to head down to Oakville to film one of their games and see what came out of it. We ended up filming two games and then setting up an interview night with the players and team coaches. What resulted was 8 different videos for each of the players. The example below is one of the eight.
